Oasis issue urgent warning over Live ’27 ticket scams ahead of unique code emails

Oasis have issued a warning to fans over potential ticket scams ahead of unique access codes being sent out for their huge ‘Live ’27’ world tour.

The band shared the advice today (September 23), with successful applicants for tickets set to start receiving emails containing their individual codes from tomorrow (24).

“Important: We have been made aware of possible Oasis ticket scams,” they wrote. “As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant. Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list or our ticketing partners.”

They stressed that anyone promising a code which has not been sent directly by Oasis is “not genuine”, and said legitimate emails will come only from [email protected].

“Any codes that are offered for sale are fraudulent and will not enable you to buy tickets,” they added.

Oasis also clarified that code emails will only be sent between Thursday September 24 and Sunday September 27.

Fans who have been randomly selected will receive an email using the same name and email address with which they registered. It will contain a unique, personal and non-transferable code and will direct them exclusively to Ticketmaster.

The band advised fans not to respond to any message that asks them to pay for a ticket code, requests a password or card details, pressures them to make a payment or directs them to any website other than the official Ticketmaster site.

Registration for tickets to the tour has now closed, and Ticketmaster has reiterated that signing up does not guarantee either a code or a ticket.

Successful applicants will be randomly selected and their codes will be valid only for their allocated city and on-sale time. The email address attached to the Ticketmaster account used to buy tickets must also match the one used to register.

Standard UK tickets will instead be fixed between £71.50 and £266.60 including fees, with the registration-and-code system acting as the only public route to buying tickets.

The warning also comes after Oasis fans were heavily targeted by scammers during the band’s original reunion run. Lloyds Banking Group estimated last year that Oasis-related ticket scams had cost fans more than £2million, with victims losing an average of £436.

Thousands of tickets were also cancelled by Ticketmaster in early 2025 as part of a crackdown on tickets suspected of having been obtained by bots, although numerous fans claimed they had been wrongly affected.

The scam warning arrives on the same day that Oasis added further ‘Live ’27’ dates due to “phenomenal demand”.

Two additional Knebworth concerts have been confirmed for September 25 and 26, 2027, taking the band’s run at the historic site to six nights. Another Munich show has been added for July 6 and a third Rome date for July 26, while their second Paris concert has been moved from July 24 to July 20.

The wider tour begins with five nights at Celtic Park in Glasgow next May before an 11-show run at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. Oasis will then head across mainland Europe and the US before playing Slane Castle in Ireland and concluding at Knebworth.

Noel Gallagher recently promised that the ‘Live ’27’ shows will be “so much better” than the band’s 2025 comeback tour, saying the group would be “way more relaxed” after successfully navigating their first shows together in 16 years.

“All of us are gonna be way more relaxed,” he said. “This is gonna be a lot more fun this time and we’re gonna put on a great show and it’s gonna be unbelievable.”
