The currently untitled documentary is created by BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer and producer Steven Knight, known for creating Peaky Blinders. Directing duties are helmed by the filmmaking duo Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who previously directed the acclaimed music documentaries Shut Up and Play the Hits and Meet Me in the Bathroom.
The film charts Liam and Noel Gallagher’s triumphant Oasis Live ’25 comeback tour, capturing the massive cultural footprint of one of the biggest musical events of the decade. Delving into the experience and emotions of both the band and their global fanbase, the documentary offers an intimate look at the rock icons. The production secured unprecedented backstage and onstage access, alongside the first joint interviews with the Gallagher brothers in more than 25 years.
Beyond the performances, the film explores the profound emotional impact of the reunion tour and examines what the band’s musical legacy means to multiple generations across the world. It frames the band’s return as a story of reconciliation and the unifying power of music.
The creative technical team behind the feature includes cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos, as well as Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers, ensuring a premium audio-visual experience for the theatrical release.
