Buckcherry’s tour bus has been involved in a fatal multi-vehicle accident on the road for their US tour.
The rock band shared a statement on social media revealing that their tour bus has been involved in the accident in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
“We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed,” the band wrote on their Instagram Stories.
“Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality.”
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life,” they continued. “We sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out with concern and support.”
The South Carolina Department of Transportation reported an incident in which a pedestrian was hit and killed on the I-26 motorway, according to local news outlets.
After the pedestrian got out of his vehicle, he was allegedly hit by a Toyota sedan and pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal accident occurred as the members of Buckcherry, including lead vocalist Josh Todd, guitarist Stevie D, bassist Kelly LeMieux, drummer Francis Ruiz and guitarist Billy Rowe, were on the road for their Roar Like Thunder Tour.
The Crazy B**ch musicians’ upcoming performances are expected to proceed as planned.
