Paris Hilton Shows How Music ‘Saved’ Her Life in New Teaser for ‘Infinite Icon’ Documentary

The film will center around the creation of Hilton’s 2024 album of the same name and explore how music helped her endure some of the most difficult moments of her life

Paris Hilton searches for “the light within the darkness” in the new teaser trailer for her upcoming documentary, Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir, which is set to hit theaters next year.

The film will center around the creation of Hilton’s 2024 album of the same name, and explore how music often served as a balm during the most difficult moments of her life and career. The new teaser begins with narration from Hilton as she talks about the public’s perception of her as a “carefree” club girl, “having the time of her life” before stating: “But I was young, and had no idea that the destruction of that innocence was right around the corner.”

In the film, Hilton will confront the often deeply misogynistic ways she was portrayed in the media, and discuss her experiences at troubled teen schools, where she claimed she was abused. For Hilton, not succumbing to “hateful comments” or these harrowing experiences meant throwing herself into something she loved: Music

“The power of music is indescribable,” she says near the end of the teaser. “Music saved my life.”

Per a description on the Infinite Icon website, the documentary will feature a mix of concert footage, archival material, behind-the-scenes moments, and never-before-seen home videos. Along with providing original narration, Hilton sat for new interviews, as well.

Infinite Icon: A visual Memoir is set to be released in theaters on Jan. 30. Tickets for the film will go on sale earlier that month.

This marks Hilton’s second major documentary about her life, following 2020’s This Is Paris, which focused largely on her time at a troubled teen school. She also published Paris: The Memoir in 2023, which is currently being adapted into a TV show by sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning.
