Pulp give ‘Deep Fried in Kelvin’ live live debut and play other deep cuts and rarities for first time in 20-30+ years at last gig “for a while” at End Of The Road 2026

Pulp treated fans at End Of The Road festival to a set of deep cuts and rarities, with Jarvis Cocker telling fans it would be the last gig for a while. Find out all the details below.

The Britpop icons closed the festival’s mainstage last night (September 5), marking the end of their 2026 tour.

To celebrate, they delivered a setlist full of rarities and live debuts – including the first-ever performance of ‘Deep Fried In Kelvin’ from their seminal 1995 album ‘Different Class’.

Elsewhere, they dusted off several tracks from their back catalog, playing ‘Little Girl (With Blue Eyes)’ for the first time since 2012, ‘Forever in My Dreams’ for the first time since 2000 and both ‘The Mark of the Devil’ and ‘Death II’ for the first time since 1992. Later on, they also gave ‘We Are the Boyz’ its first public performance since 1998.

Cocker also sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to End Of The Road, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, while the band performed with a slideshow of the band’s history playing behind them.

Following the show, the frontman took to Instagram to tell fans that the performance would be their “last one for a while”, though he added: “But not for ever”.

See the full setlist below.

Pulp at End Of The Road festival played:

‘I Spy’
‘Little Girl (With Blue Eyes)’ (First performance since 2012)
‘The Mark of the Devil’ (First performance since 1992)
‘Background Noise’
‘Tina’
‘Forever in My Dreams’ (First performance since 2000)
‘Deep Fried in Kelvin’ (Live debut)
‘Death II’ (First performance since 1992)
‘O.U. (Gone, Gone)’
‘Babies’
‘Razzmatazz’
‘Lipgloss’
‘Happy Birthday to You’
‘Do You Remember the First Time?’
‘Spike Island’
‘Got to Have Love’
‘Underwear
‘Common People’
‘This Is Hardcore’
‘We Are the Boyz’ (First public performance since 1998)
‘Something Changed’
‘Sunrise’

Cocker had teased last November that Pulp “might write some more songs” together. The update came after his bandmates Nick Banks and Candida Doyle told NME that they were “not itching” to make another new album. “An EP, maybe, or a single,” Doyle added.

When NME asked Cocker last summer if fans could expect a follow-up to their last album, 2025’s ‘More’ he replied: “Maybe. We tried to not have a concept for this record or think, ‘This is it, this is our last gas’. I used to think that a lot.

“I had this weird thing that when an album was mixed and finished where I’d think, ‘Oh, I can die now and it would be OK’. That’s a terrible way to think about your life, really. I didn’t feel that with this record.”

In other news, Pulp are also releasing a new concert film, What Do You Do For An Encore?, in cinemas and on MUBI soon.

The band announced details of the new film back in June, as well as the aforementioned live album that will capture the Sheffield band’s two sold-out shows at The O2 in London last summer.

Last month, it was confirmed that global distributor MUBI would be previewing the movie for fans for one night only in UK and Irish cinemas on September 18, in Canadian theatres on September 23 and US cinemas on September 24. It arrives on streaming from September 25.

Earlier this summer, Pulp played a huge headline set to close out Mad Cool 2026 – where they broke out ‘Common People’ as England fans celebrated the win against Norway at the World Cup – and also delivered a special orchestral gig to celebrate 50 years of Rough Trade at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Since releasing ‘More’ last year, Pulp have dropped new track ‘Begging For Change’ for the the star-studded ‘Help(2)’ charity album for War Child, and also digitally released an EP featuring two new songs: ‘Marrying For Love’ and ‘Cold Call On The Hotline’.
