Roger Taylor shared a new solo single, “I See You Now.” The reflective track is the second listen off the Queen drummer’s forthcoming LP, Violence Insane in a Beautiful World, out Sept. 18 via Columbia Records.

Alongside the track, Taylor released a black and white music video created by the musician’s wife Sarina Taylor and his long-time collaborator Simon Lupton. He told BBC Radio 2 that the song is a tribute to his wife.

“It’s a love song,” he explained. “It’s really about my wife. We’ve been together for quite some time, and I think when you really get to know someone, at first you really don’t see everything about them, but when you really get to know someone, it’s ‘Oh, I see you now, that’s it.’”

Violence Insane in a Beautiful World is Taylor’s seventh solo album. He said its underlying idea is clear in the title. “There seems to be all this insanity at the moment,” Taylor explained. “The violence in the world seems to be as bad as it ever was, at any point, and certainly in my lifetime. It’s just horrific, a lot of insane violence.”

Taylor will embark on a short tour in the U.K. in support of the release. The trek kicks off in Newcastle, England, on Sept. 21, and includes stops in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester, Swansea, and London.

Although Taylor has been focused on his solo career, Queen are still toying with how to continue as a band. Last year, Taylor told Rolling Stone in a digital cover story that the musicians wants to carry on.  I don’t think we’re done,” Taylor said. “And I don’t think we’re gonna say, you know, final farewell tour or whatever. ’Cause it never is, is it?”
