Ronnie Wood adds UK and European shows to 2026 tour with Imelda May

Ronnie Wood has announced some UK and European headline shows for his 2026 solo tour. Find all the details below.

The Rolling Stones guitarist confirmed last month that he’d be taking to the stage at the legendary Paradiso in Amsterdam in September. He later added a second night at the venue due to demand.

Now, he’s shared details of two extra gigs in the UK and Germany. Wood will play at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on Friday August 21, before heading to E-Werk in Cologne on Thursday September 3.

Imelda May is set to open for Wood and his band at the forthcoming concerts.

“I’m looking forward to kickin’ ass with my back catalogue and some new songs – look out London!” Wood said in a statement.

Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (April 24). You’ll be able to buy yours here (London) and here (Cologne). Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale by signing up here.

Per a press release, the “intimate” live dates will give fans “an opportunity to see one of the world’s most iconic guitarists outside of his stadium performances with The Rolling Stones”.

The tour marks Wood’s first full solo sets in over 16 years. He has collaborated with May numerous times on record and on stage, including at the 2023 Jeff Beck tribute concert at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall.

Ronnie Wood’s UK and European tour dates for 2026 are:

AUGUST
21 – O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

SEPTEMBER
03 – E-Werk, Cologne
07 – Paradiso, Amsterdam
08 – Paradiso, Amsterdam

Wood will also support Eric Clapton at his huge show at the Sandringham Estate this summer.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones have returned with a vinyl-only new single, ‘Rough And Twisted’, under the alias The Cockroaches.

The song serves as the first taste of the band’s as-yet-untitled new album, which is slated for release in July. It’ll be the Stones’ first full-length effort since 2023’s Grammy-winning ‘Hackney Diamonds’.

Mick Jagger and co. have again joined forces with Andrew Watt, who produced their aforementioned previous LP. The Times has reported that the new project will not be the last from the rock icons, as they already have at least 10 songs written for another release after this upcoming record.

Watt revealed last year that he had been working with the Stones again on another album. Later, guitarist Wood confirmed reports that new music was in the works, saying the LP was finished and due to arrive in 2026.

He had told NME in 2023 that he didn’t “think it willl be that long” until the group’s next full-length effort, following the 18-year gap between their previous two projects.

However, The Rolling Stones are unlikely to announce a full tour anytime soon. In late 2025, they said they scrapped plans for a UK and European stadium run in 2026 because Keith Richards was unable to “commit” to it.

The group embarked on their North American ‘Hackney Diamonds’ tour in 2024, with the trek landing at Number Six on the list of the highest-grossing music world tours of that year. They last played the UK in 2022, with two huge London BST Hyde Park gigs and a stadium concert in Liverpool.
