Sabrina Carpenter performed a special duet with Stevie Nicks at the 2026 Met Gala on Monday night.

After the star-studded guest list assembled inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for its Costume Art gala, they were treated to a performance by Sabrina in front of the Temple of Dendur.

The popstar, fresh from headlining Coachella, entertained guests with renditions of her recent hits House Tour, Espresso and Please, Please, Please, backed by a five-piece orchestra, a four-person band and four dancers, according to Vogue.

Sabrina wore two looks for the performance – a multicoloured Versace Tribute dress covered in Andy Warhol’s prints of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, followed by a golden fringe dress by Bob Mackie.

Following her set, there was a brief interlude from stage actor Joshua Henry, singing I Sing the Body Electric by Walt Whitman.

Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie then took to the stage for her closing set. She kicked off with her band’s 1975 hit Landslide, for which Sabrina joined her, before singing Gypsy and Edge of Seventeen on her own. To conclude the show, Stevie brought out Sabrina for a duet of her band’s 1977 hit Don’t Stop, with the help of a 12-person chair.

The Met Gala show comes just weeks after the Taste hitmaker brought out Madonna for a surprise performance of the pop legend’s songs Vogue and Like A Prayer during her headlining set at Coachella festival last month.

Earlier on Monday night, Sabrina walked the Met steps wearing a Dior dress made out of film strips from the 1954 Audrey Hepburn movie Sabrina.

Meanwhile, Stevie made her Met Gala debut in a midnight blue John Galliano for Zara dress with a voluminous skirt and top hat.

Sabrina and Stevie follow in the footsteps of 2025 Met Gala performers Stevie Wonder and Usher and 2024 singers Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
