Sara Bareilles is set to drop new music for the first time in almost seven years.
The Love Song hitmaker announced on Instagram on Monday that she will release a song titled Home on 3 June.
Sara also shared a teaser of the accompanying music video, which shows her walking through a field.
“I’m so happy to finally share new music after almost 7 years – this new work is deeply personal… unlike all my other stuff,” she wrote in the caption. “More exciting news on the way!”
Accordingly, many dedicated fans expressed their delight over the news.
“Sara pls (sic) tell my boss I’ll be unavailable Wednesday. Cannot wait!” one follower declared, while another added: “New Sara Bareilles music the year 2026 is SAVED.”
Last week, Sara posted a short video via her website and YouTube in which she indicated she is putting a tour together.
“Hi everybody. Something’s coming soon. This is your boiler plate teaser video. I’m finally, after many years, making art again,” the 46-year-old shared. “Music, specifically, heard of it? Making music, making records, taking pictures about it, making videos, going on tour, all kinds of things are happening and something big is coming soon. One of the things is big and I’m getting off point, but you get it. Stay tuned!”
Sara unveiled her sixth studio album, Amidst the Chaos, in April 2019.
Since then, the theatre star has been working on a variety of projects, including playing Dawn Solano in the musical comedy TV show, Girls5eva.
