Sean Diddy Combs’ Star Island estate in Miami has changed hands in a $55 million (£41 million) deal.
The news comes as the music mogul continues to serve his 50-month federal prison sentence for his conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution.
The waterfront mansion, located at 1 Star Island Drive and bought by Combs in 2021 for $35 million (£26 million), was snapped up in an off-market transaction.
Located on an exclusive Miami Beach enclave, the home was previously owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan. It boasts six bedrooms and eight bathrooms plus a guesthouse on more than an acre of waterfront property.
According to The Real Deal, the estate also features a swimming pool, private dock, basketball court, spa and views of the Miami skyline. The property underwent extensive renovations following Combs’ purchase.
The estate is one of two properties Combs owns on Star Island. The other, located at 2 Star Island, was raided by Homeland Security as part of the federal investigation against Combs.
Ahead of his September 2024 arrest, Combs paid off nearly $19 million (£14 million) of the property’s mortgage so as to ensure that the mansion could be pledged as collateral in a proposed bail package.
Despite that effort, a federal judge denied Combs’ request for bail.
