Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sued by six more people, including two women who claim he raped them, three men who allege that he sexually assaulted them, and a then-16-year-old boy who says Diddy molested him at a party, reports The Associated Press. It’s the first time Diddy has been sued by someone claiming they were a minor at the time. These are the latest in over a dozen lawsuits and criminal charges filed against Diddy, who is currently incarcerated in federal prison. The previously most recent lawsuit arrived at the end of September.
Filed anonymously in federal court in Manhattan, the lawsuits claim that Diddy used his fame and the promise of stardom to draw the Jane Does and John Does to parties where they were drugged, sexually assaulted, and—in some of their claims—beaten. The lawsuits allege that the assaults took place from the mid-1990s on through to 2021, with locations ranging from Diddy’s infamous “white parties” at the Hamptons, a party celebrating the Notorious B.I.G. in Brooklyn, and a room inside Macy’s department store in midtown Manhattan.
One of the John Does claims that, when he was 16, Diddy touched his genitals at one of his white parties in 1998. After Diddy allegedly told the then-teenager that he had “the look” of a star, Doe claims that Diddy ordered him to take off his pants, insisting that it’s a rite of passage and allegedly saying, “Don’t you want to break into the business?” Doe alleges that he did what he was told due to fear, anxiety, and a power imbalance, and didn’t realize it was sexual assault until later on.
In one lawsuit, a Jane Doe claims that when she was a freshman in college, Diddy invited her and her friend to a party at a hotel in 2004. She alleges that the rapper gave them drinks, ordered them to snort cocaine, and raped her inside the locked hotel room. Doe also included claims that Diddy forced her friend to perform oral sex on him and threatened their lives if they didn’t obey.
A different Jane Doe alleged that, at a 1995 party in Brooklyn, for Notorious B.I.G.’s music video “One More Chance,” Diddy brought her into a bathroom to talk privately and began to kiss her. When she tried to pull away, she claims he slammed her head against a wall so hard that she fell to the floor, and he continued to violently attack her. Doe alleges that Diddy raped her in the bathroom and, afterward, threatened her that if she told anyone, then “you will disappear.”
