K-pop group Seventeen brought their synchronized choreography and vocal harmonies to Good Morning America Wednesday, with an English-language performance of new song “Love, Money, Fame,” the 13-person crew’s first performance of the single for U.S. TV audiences.
Seventeen — S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino — released their mini album Spill the Feels on Oct. 14, which includes “Love, Money, Fame” featuring DJ Khaled. DJ Khaled did not perform during their Good Morning America appearance.
Seventeen kickstarted their Right Here World Tour earlier this month, supporting their album 17 Is Right Here, which features their greatest hits like “Hot,” “Maestro,” and “Super,” plus four new songs. They began performances in Japan and Korea before embarking on a nine-date trek in the U.S. They head to San Antonio for a two-night stint and then Oakland, before wrapping the tour in Los Angeles on Nov. 10.
Before announcing their 17 Is Right Here album, Seventeen had just finished their Follow Tour and Follow Again, the encore leg of the tour. Speaking with Rolling Stone in April, Seventeen member Jun discussed what Carats, their fanbase, can expect after the Follow Tour.
“Even with the tour ending, we go straight into promotions for [single] ‘Maestro,’ so I don’t think it’ll feel like an end, but a new start,” Jun told Rolling Stone. “It’s also called FOLLOW AGAIN, and I really think our Carats can enjoy it to no end. So don’t think of it as the end, but just continue to enjoy it.”
