Shining, like they’re born to be – HUNTR/X make it 10 weeks at the top

K-Pop Demon Hunters phenomenon HUNTR/X and Golden remain at the summit, earning a tenth week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.

The Top 3 remain in tact, after regaining the top spot from Taylor Swift’s The Fate of Ophelia last week, animated trio HUNTR/X hold on as The Fate of Ophelia settling for second place once more while RAYE’s WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! holds steady at Number 3.

We’re clearly still not over Lily Allen’s eye-opening divorce record, are we?

Pussy Palace breaks new ground by crashing the Top 10 party (8), while the album’s title track West End Girl (15) and Madeline (16) also achieve new peaks.

Halloween may be a ghost of the past, but the spooky hits are still haunting our playlists!

Off the back of Halloween, and with the release of his Michael biopic trailer, Michael Jackson’s Thriller climbs to Number 9, marking a brand-new peak for the single. The track previously made Number 10 back in 1984.

Other Halloween tracks breaking the Top 20 this week include Ray Parker Jr.’s iconic Ghostbusters (17), Rockwell’s Somebody’s Watching Me (19) and the classic Monster Mash by Bobby “Boris” Pickett (20).

And we’re not done there! Andrew Gold’s Spooky Scary Skeletons (30) and Danny Elfman’s This Is Halloween (31) also surge up the chart this week.

It’s a new entry for Olivia Dean, whose track A Couple Minutes lands at Number 22 following an incredible live performance of the song for a COLORS studio session.

And it’s another new entry for Merseyside rapper EsDeeKid, who finds his latest offering Century at Number 40.
