Sombr confirmed to perform at the BRITS 2026

Sombr has been confirmed as the latest artist set to perform at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

Set to take place next Saturday (February 28), the event will be held at the Co-op Live in Manchester – the first time that the awards have been held outside of London in its 50-year history.

Harry Styles, Olivia Dean, HUNTR/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, Alex Warren and Rosalía all already announced as playing at the ceremony.

Today (Thursday February 19), Sombr has also been confirmed for the line-up for the night. He is nominated for International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for his single ‘Undressed’.

“I’m so honoured to be performing at the iconic BRIT Awards,” he shared. “I am so thankful to everyone who has supported me this past year. I love the UK and all the British people, it’s my second home!”

The announcement comes following the New York singer-songwriter having a big 2026 so far, already being nominated for Best New Artist at this year’s Grammys, and previously taking home the award for Best Alternative at the MTV VMAs.

All nods come on the heels of him releasing the debut album ‘I Barely Know Her’ in August.

That album was given a four-star NME review, which described it as an “album driven by heartache” and “a gloriously dynamic record that’s less about misery and more about catharsis. It’s sad boy indie with a smirk.”

The stop at the BRITs takes place as the singer is already underway with his UK and European tour, which includes slots in London, Manchester, Birmingham and more. Visit here to buy remaining tickets.

As for this year’s BRITs, Jack Whitehall will be returning to host for the sixth time, and this year’s trophy has been unveiled, designed by Matthew Williamson and inspired by Manchester.

Jacob Alon has been confirmed as the winner of the 2026 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award, and those leading the way in terms of nominations this year include Olivia Dean, former NME Cover star Lola Young, Sam Fender, Lily Allen and rapper Jim Legxacy.

Other artists being honoured at this year’s BRITs include Mark Ronson, who has been awarded for his Outstanding Contribution to Music, and Noel Gallagher, who has been given the ‘Songwriter Of The Year’ award.

The show will be broadcast on ITV1 in the UK, with performances to be shared worldwide on YouTube. Check out a full list of nominees here.
