St. Vincent announces ‘Live In London!’ Royal Albert Hall BBC Proms album

St. Vincent announces ‘Live In London!’ Royal Albert Hall BBC Proms album

St. Vincent has announced a new live album, capturing her special performance for the BBC Proms last year. Find all the details below.

The musician (aka Annie Clark) played an orchestral show at London’s historic Royal Albert Hall in September. Conductor, arranger and orchestrator Jules Buckley helped organise the concert to mark his 25th Prom.

Today (Tuesday March 17), it’s been confirmed that St. Vincent will release the set as a new live record, titled ‘St. Vincent: Live In London!’. The 19-track digital record is due to arrive on March 20 via Total Pleasure/Virgin Music Group. Pre-add/pre-save here.

Fans will hear Clark, Buckley and the 60-piece orchestra reimagine 19 songs, made up of live staples and rarely played deep cuts spanning the St. Vincent’s catalogue – from her 2007 debut, ‘Marry Me’ up to 2024’s multiple-Grammy-winning ‘All Born Screaming’.

The full tracklist for St. Vincent’s ‘Live In London!’ album is:

‘We Put A Pearl In The Ground’
‘Hell Is Near’
‘Reckless’
‘Violent Times’

‘The Strangers’
‘Black Rainbow’
‘Marrow’
‘The Bed’
‘Smoking Section’
‘Now, Now’
‘Live In The Dream’
‘The Nowhere Inn’
‘Digital Witness’
‘Los Ageless’
‘The Party’
‘New York’
‘Paris Is Burning’
‘Candy Darling’
‘Slow Disco’

As well as announcing the live album, Clark has today expanded her limited run of North American orchestral headline shows – all featuring local orchestras with Jules Buckley conducting.

Tickets for all newly added dates go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (March 20), except for Interlochen, which will go on sale on April 17. See the full schedule and buy tickets here.

Ahead of the Royal Albert Hall show last autumn, Buckley said: “The concept here is not just to slap an orchestral wallpaper behind an artist.

“We’ve worked together to find a new interpretation of St. Vincent’s sound. Annie and her keys player, Rachel, have toured as a duo, so that’s been an inspiration for how to reimagine some of the pieces with a larger ensemble.”

Clark had previously taken to the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in 2024. In a four-star review of that gig, NME wrote: “Throughout the pulverising 90-minute set, Clark wields her guitar like a weapon and attacks the microphone with a restless urgency.

“Big, cathartic breakdowns teeter on the edge of chaos, but Clark and her four-piece band never let things fall apart completely. It’s gorgeous to watch, but it demands participation as well. With music this charged, there’s simply no standing on the sidelines.”

Earlier this month, St. Vincent covered Depeche Mode, Jeff Buckley and more at an intimate show in California, alongside her keyboardist Rachel Eckroth.

Elsewhere, Clark joined Cate Le Bon onstage in New York recently to perform their collaborative single ‘Always The Same’.

St. Vincent is set to appear on Ringo Starr’s upcoming solo album, ‘Long Long Road’, along with the likes of Sheryl Crow and Billy Strings.
