The discovery has triggered immediate speculation that the long-awaited re-recording of her self-titled debut album may be next in line.
The section currently hosts two items: Taylor’s ownership letter and the track list for The Life of a Showgirl. A third page is now visible but cannot be opened, leaving fans to guess what announcement might be sitting behind the locked link.
Swifties quickly connected the update to Taylor’s previous confirmation that her debut re-recording is complete. In her ownership letter, she wrote: “I’ve already completely re-recorded my entire debut album.” She added that she would release it when it felt right. That line has become the backbone of fan theories that the hidden page could be part of the rollout.
Some fans have also pointed back to 2006, when Taylor used MySpace to tell followers she had finished her original debut album. The similarity – a quiet online update signalling a major milestone – has fuelled the idea that another digital letter could be the first step in launching Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version).
Others have focused on dates. A popular theory centres on November 10, after fans rearranged a cryptic phrase Taylor delivered during her recent Emmys appearance into what they believe references her first record and “NOV TEN.” Swifties also noticed that November 10 – the birthday of Taylor’s cat Meredith – is highlighted in her 2026–2027 schedule. The date also marks the anniversary of the original Reputation album, adding another layer to the speculation.
Taylor has not announced what the third page is for, and there is currently no confirmation that it relates to her debut re-recording.
In August, meanwhile, the Empire State Building lit up in bright green, with its official X account posting a photo captioned “WhaTS happening?” – a message fans immediately linked to Swift’s initials. Hours earlier, a vivid green “TS” emblem had appeared on a black wall at an undisclosed location, sparking online chatter about a possible new era.
More versions of the symbol surfaced in multiple cities, with fans noting the typeface didn’t match any of Swift’s previous album cycles. Some pointed to Reputation’s black-and-green snake aesthetic, while others compared the design to her 2006 debut. Reactions have ranged from “giving snake” to theories about an entirely new chapter.
The Empire State Building has a history of nodding to Swift milestones, turning orange in 2025 for The Life of a Showgirl and blue in 2026 to mark her wedding to Kelce.
