Taylor Swift fans have turned on Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole
Swifties wasted no time slamming the influencer after her tearful confession, in a trailer for the reality TV series Special Forces, that she had found her split from Travis “overwhelming”.
“Going through a public breakup, it’s been overwhelming,” the model and influencer could be heard saying in the promotional clip, as she wiped away tears. Later, asked by another contestant, “Wait, who’s your ex?”, she whispered, “Travis Kelce”.
Kayla, 32 and football player Travis, 35, ended their five-year romance in May 2022, more than a year before he started dating Taylor, 34 in 2023.
After the trailers were posted online, many of Taylor’s fans lost no time demanding Kayla “move on” from the relationship.
“Like gurl, MOVE ON. It’s 2024,” one fan posted on Twitter/X.
On a TikTok video about the new series, another commented, “it’s been two years… it’s time to seek professional help and I mean that respectfully.”
Others took issue with Kayla’s description of her split from Travis as “public”.
“She didn’t have a public breakup,” commented one.” They brokw (sic) up in 2022. He dated Swift in 2023. She had 1 whole year of quiet time of her break up”.
