Taylor Swift has been granted a five-year restraining order against a man accused of stalking her.
On Monday, the pop superstar was granted a restraining order against 45-year-old Brian Jason Wagner, who allegedly claimed that Swift had given birth to his child.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Wagner has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the Bad Blood hitmaker. He is also barred from contacting her in any form – whether in person, online or by post – and prohibited from approaching her Los Angeles home, vehicles or workplace.
Additionally, the order prevents Wagner, who is reportedly from Colorado, from owning firearms, ammunition or body armour for five years. He must surrender any such items currently in his possession to the police.
Wagner did not appear during the court hearing.
Swift was previously granted a temporary restraining order against the alleged stalker in June, after she claimed he had repeatedly appeared at her home and insisted that she had his child.
She further accused him of sending threatening messages, diverting her mail, and changing the address on his driving licence to her residence.
Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that a man attempting to serve deposition papers to the singer on behalf of actor and director Justin Baldoni’s lawyers was arrested for criminal trespassing at her fiancé Travis Kelce’s house earlier this month.
Justin Lee Fisher was caught on Kelce’s gated property in Kansas after a federal judge overseeing the defamation and sexual harassment lawsuits between Baldoni and actress Blake Lively denied the deposition request.
According to a police report from the Leawood Police Department, Fisher, a former police officer-turned-private investigator, was apprehended at Kelce’s residence at around 2 a.m. on 15 September.
