Taylor Swift leads the nominations for the 2026 American Music Awards (AMAs).

The pop superstar has secured the most nods ahead of this year’s ceremony, with eight nominations in total.

The Bad Blood hitmaker, already the most-awarded artist in AMA history with 40 wins, is nominated in several top categories this year, including Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl, Song of the Year for The Fate of Ophelia, and Artist of the Year.

Close behind Swift are Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean, Sombr and Morgan Wallen, who have each earned seven nominations.

Carpenter and Wallen are both in contention for Album, Song and Artist of the Year, while Dean and Sombr are nominated for Best New Artist, among other major categories.

Other Artist of the Year contenders include Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, BTS, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga.

Dean and Sombr are also among this year’s first-time nominees, alongside RAYE, Role Model, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Tate McRae, PinkPantheress, BigXthaPlug, Leon Thomas and Sienna Spiro.

Winners will be decided by fan vote, with voting now open.
