The special captures the last stop of the star’s record-breaking tour in Vancouver and will stream Dec. 12 on Disney+
Taylor Swift has released the new trailer for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, which is set to release Dec. 12 on Disney+.
The upcoming concert film features the Grammy winner’s emotional farewell to her historic Eras Tour that took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, and saw Swift perform the entire set of The Tortured Poets Department, following the album’s 2024 release. (A previous Eras Tour movie released in 2023 on Disney+ prior to the addition of the songs on the tour set list.)
“We’ve had so long to prepare for the end of this tour and we get to play one last show for you here tonight,” Swift tells the audience in the trailer, which captures the singer performing an acoustic set for “Long Live.” “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.”
Glenn Weiss directed the new project produced by Taylor Swift Productions in association with Silent House Productions. The concert film will debut on Disney+ the same day the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a six-part docuseries, arrives on the platform.
The series features footage of Swift backstage rehearsing with many of the Eras Tour’s surprise guests — Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and more — as well as a look into her life with now-fiancé Travis Kelce. Along with behind-the-scenes footage on tour, The End of an Era also includes commentary from Swift on how she created her career-spanning, record-breaking trek.
“This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once,” Swift says in the series’ trailer. “There’s something very special about that.”
