“Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life,” the musician wrote about the 256-page book, which will include more than 500 photographs from the Eras tour
Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour will end on Sunday, Dec. 8, after nearly two years. The career-spanning show has already been immortalized in the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film, which was released in theaters before landing at Disney Plus. Now, Swift has plans to release another shrine for the record-breaking tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book, a 256-page book that includes more than 500 photographs from the live show.
“Here is the official retrospective of the most wondrous tour of my life, my beloved Eras Tour,” Swift shared in a statement. “Thank you to the fans who came to this show. You were what made The Eras Tour what it became.” Each era will receive its own spotlight in the book, accompanied by commentary written by Swift about the performance photos and behind-the-scenes images.
The Eras Tour Book will be available exclusively at Target beginning Friday, Nov. 29, in-person and Saturday, Nov. 30 online. And while all of the shopping Swifties are there, they’ll also be able to pick up the first-ever pressing of The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl.
“We’ll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually. Excited to announce that The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my own personal reflections, never-before-seen behind the scenes photos, all the magical memories you guys brought every single night AND …. The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD will all be available for the first time ever only at @Target starting Nov 29th.”
The Anthology vinyl will include all 31 songs featured on the double album released earlier this year as well as four additional bonus tracks. It contains four LPs.
“It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album,” Swift shared in a post to fans in April when she expanded the newly-released record in the middle of the night. Swift has since worked the Tortured Poets Department collection into its own set at the Eras tour but had to sacrifice time from the other eras in order to fit it into the three-hour-long show. “I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”
