Taylor Swift has visited children in hospital days after wrapping Eras Tour.
The music megastar wrapped up her mammoth record-breaking tour in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday after almost two years.
Days later, Taylor made a surprise visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday, where she met with patients, families and hospital staff.
Taking to Instagram, a paediatric nurse shared a snap of the Lavender Haze hitmaker posing with members of the staff.
“TAYLOR SWIFT WAS IN THE PROCEDURAL SEDATION UNIT!!!! Best day ever!!!” the nurse wrote in the caption, via People.
In another photo shared on X, Taylor posed with a patient holding a blanket that read, “Go Taylor’s Boyfriend”, referring to the pop star’s American football player boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
In a separate Facebook post, a woman shared a series of photos of Taylor with her arm around a fan in a hospital bed, describing the visit as “the coolest, most unexpected surprise ever”.
“TAYLOR SWIFT came to visit impatient children today and Baylee was chosen since she requests Taylor songs during her uncomfortable procedures!” she wrote alongside the snaps. “Ya’ll she is amazing! On top of her sheer beauty she was just as kind and personable and down to earth. She gave Baylee a signed copy of her Eras Tour book and accepted a gift from Baylee ( a diamond art picture) as well.”
She added, “I even cried because it’s wonderful to see my girl smile so much knowing the pain she’s been in.”
The Blank Space singer also took part in a TikTok in which she danced and lip-synced to her song Bad Blood in a hospital room, while another TikTok video showed staff wishing her a happy birthday as she turned 35 on Friday.
