Taylor Swift’s Epic L.A. Weekend, From iHeartRadio Music Awards to Paul McCartney’s Star-Studded Concert

Taylor Swift was at two of the biggest events in Los Angeles last week: the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday and the second of two Paul McCartney underplay concerts at the Fonda Theater on Saturday.

On the new Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, Katie & Keith are talking about how Swift dominated Thursday’s iHearts — taking home seven prizes and extending her record as the winningest artist in the show’s history, while also making her awards show debut with fiancé Travis Kelce — and then popped up at the Fonda for a girls’ night with the HAIM sisters on Saturday. And Swift wasn’t the only one in the crowd at the shows: We also talk about all the A-listers who were reportedly on site for the phone-free shows, which celebrated the announcement of McCartney’s upcoming album The Boys of Dungeon Lane (though he didn’t perform lead single “Days We Left Behind”).

Also on the show, we’ve got chart news on how BTS debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with ARIRANG, scoring the group’s seventh No. 1. Plus, BTS also bow atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart with “SWIM,” marking their — wait a minute — seventh No. 1. (Did we mention there are seven members of BTS?)

The Billboard Pop Shop Podcast is your one-stop shop for all things pop on Billboard‘s weekly charts. You can always count on a lively discussion about the latest pop news, fun chart stats and stories, new music, and guest interviews with music stars and folks from the world of pop.
