The nominees for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards are finally here.
The first slate of nominees will be revealed in a special livestream starting at 8:15 a.m. ET, while 10 additional categories will be announced live on CBS Mornings starting at 8:30 a.m. ET. Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut will present the nominees, and the full list of nominees be made available after on the Golden Globes’ website.
The frontrunners on the film side for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards will likely be big-ticket movies like Wicked, Dune: Part Two, A Complete Unknown, and Challengers, as well as critical and festival darlings like Anora, The Brutalist, Conclave, Emelia Pérez, and Sing Sing.
In TV, new shows like Shōgun and Baby Reindeer should be primed for big showings after nabbing numerous awards at the Emmys in September. The Bear, which won several big prizes at the 2024 Globes, will also look to repeat in several categories. Other likely nominees include Hacks, Abbott Elementary, Industry, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, The Penguin, and True Detective: Night Country.
The 82nd Golden Globes will air live Jan 5, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+. The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, and Ted Danson is set to receive the show’s Carol Burnett Award for Career Achievements.
(The Golden Globes are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge Industries; PMC is also the parent company of Rolling Stone.)
