The Black Keys share cathartic single ‘You Got To Lose’ to announce new album ‘Peaches!’ along with two summer 2026 London shows

The Black Keys have announced their new album ‘Peaches!’, sharing its lead single along with the news of two summer 2026 shows in London.

The blues rock duo have returned with news of their upcoming album, which is set to be released May 1 via Easy Eye Sound/Parlophone Records – pre-order/pre-save here.

Today, the band (Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney) have dropped the record’s first single – the rollicking, cathartic ‘You Got To Lose’, which sees Auerbach sing in despair: “You’ve got to lose / You can’t win all the time…”

Written when Auerbach was caring for his late father, who was diagnosed with a stroke and oesophageal cancer, the record was an unspoken agreement that “it would be good for Dan to have something to do”.

“We weren’t making a record. We were just jamming, like this is for us,” Auerbach says of ‘Peaches!’. “Really primal, in a moment when all the nerves were raw, just kinda screaming. We were going through a lot, trying to lift our spirits. I think my dad getting sick made me not give a fuck and just wanna scream for a bit.”

Recorded live with an entire band and few overdubs, ‘Peaches!’ is set to be The Black Keys’ rawest record yet. Take a listen to ‘You Got To Lose’ and see tracklisting below:

The Black Keys’ ‘Peaches!’ tracklist is:

‘Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire’
‘Stop Arguing Over Me’
‘Who’s Been Foolin’ You’
‘It’s a Dream’
‘Tomorrow Night’
‘You Got To Lose’
‘Tell Me You Love Me’
‘She Does It Right’
‘Fireman Ring the Bell’
‘Nobody But You Baby’

To support the album, The Black Keys will embark on a tour across North America, Europe and the UK.

After kicking off at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 1, the band will play a show at Harriet Island Regional Park in Minnesota. Following that, they’re slated to appear at Rock en Seine Festival in Paris, and Southsea’s Victorious Festival towards the end of August.

The Black Keys will then stop by London’s Eventim Apollo on August 31, wrapping up their tour with a final show at O2 Academy Brixton the following night (September 1).

Fans who pre-order ‘Peaches!’ will be able to access pre-sale for the London shows here – you can then buy any remaining tickets here.

We spoke to The Black Keys last year, where Carney told us about the future of the band.

“We are still just as excited to go into a studio and make a new song today as we were 20 years ago,” Carney said. “Maybe even more now because we have more confidence and a broader range of ideas. We’re having fun, but just trying to pace ourselves though, because this summer tour is probably the absolute max of what we can bite off.

“Our main goal is to keep it fun and to not burn out.”
