The Lemon Twigs announce new album ‘Look For Your Mind!’ with enchanting single ‘I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You’

The Lemon Twigs are back with a new album called ‘Look For Your Mind!’. Check out the lead single below, along with details of a 2026 tour.

The new record marks the sixth from the indie giants, and will be released on May 8 via Captured Tracks. It also sees live members Reza Matin (drums) and Danny Ayala (bass) added to the line-up, as well as Eva Chambers of Tchotchke.

Today (Wednesday March 11), the band have shared the first taster of the album in the form of ‘I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You’.

On the surface, the song captures a familiar feel for the group with its pop-infused exterior and emotive lyrics, although they take things up a notch by playing with the structure – introducing the bridge at an unexpected time, cutting the chorus in half, and seeing Brian D’Addario and Eva deliver some intricate harmonies.

“Every time we try to write something that’s completely straightforward, we can’t help adding an element which comes out of left field,” Brian said of the single. “We always want to write a song we’ve never heard before.”

The new album comes as the follow-up to 2023’s ‘Everything Harmony’ and 2024’s ‘A Dream Is All We Know’, and sees them “incorporate new skills they have gathered over the past two years after being on tour”.

The record is set to capture a “unique blend of paranoia and suspicion, alongside the pop-inspired melodies that first put the band on the map”.

“I do think that now is a time of insanity,” Brian said. “You really have to hold onto your own mind if you don’t wanna lose it.” Visit here to pre-order the album.

As well as the new music, The Lemon Twigs have also shared details of a 2026 tour, which kicks off in the spring and includes a number of UK dates, as well as international shows.

Visit here for tickets to UK dates – plus a list of those shows below – and here for more information on the international dates planned for 2026.

The Lemon Twigs 2026 UK tour dates are:

MAY
18 – Nottingham, UK @ Rescue Rooms
19 – Norwich, UK @ The Waterfront
20 – London, UK @ O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire
22 – Leeds, UK @ Brudenell Social Club
23 – Leeds, UK @ Brudenell Social Club
24 – Newcastle, UK @ Boiler Shop
26 – Dublin, IE @ Vicar Street
27 – Belfast, UK @ Belfast Empire Music Hall
29 – Glasgow, UK @ Queen Margaret Union
30 – Manchester, UK @ Academy 2

Last year, Brian D’Addario shared an amorous new single ‘Till The Morning’, which was the first taster of his debut solo album of the same name.

Before then, The Lemon Twigs 2024’s album ‘A Dream Is All We Know‘ was given a four-star review from NME.

“‘A Dream Is All We Know’, the siblings’ mostly self-produced fifth studio album, sees them revel in Beach Boys harmonies and off-kilter melodies (think the Beatles when they were starting to get weird). Somehow, they manage to act as if all this has never been done before – and herein lies much of their appeal,” it read.

“At 25 and 27 respectively, Michael and Brian continue to harness an endearing naivety that carries you past any accusations of unoriginality. ‘The album’s aiming for something timeless,’ Michael recently told Mojo, and it’s impressive how often this record lives up to that ambition.”
