The band faces stiff competition from British R&B trio FLO, whose second studio album, THERAPY AT THE CLUB, sits closely behind at Number 2 in the midweek update. If FLO maintain their position, the project will surpass their 2024 debut album, Access All Areas, which peaked at Number 3.
It promises to be a strong chart week for British talent across multiple genres. Welsh electronic duo Overmono are on course for their highest-charting album to date as Pure Devotion holds the Number 4 spot, boosted by a massive headline show at London’s Old Royal Naval College. Further down the standings, Liverpool newcomers Keyside are pushing for a Top 40 debut with their self-titled release at Number 11, while London outfit Man/Woman/Chainsaw target their first chart appearance with Cannonball at Number 16.
A major vinyl reissue campaign has triggered a surge for Kylie Minogue, with four of her classic albums positioned to re-enter the Top 40: 2007’s X (7), 2000’s Light Years (17), former Number 1 Aphrodite (20), and 2014’s Kiss Me Once (31).
International acts are also making their presence felt in the midweek update. American singer-songwriter ROLE MODEL is tracking toward his first UK Top 40 album with Chuck Timely & The Hourglass at Number 12, while Ethel Cain’s 2022 album Preacher’s Daughter returns at Number 18 following a new CD release. German post-hardcore band Electric Callboy and TANZNEID sit at Number 22.
Rounding out the midweek entries, rock group Sleep Token target Number 33 with an instrumental tenth-anniversary edition of Even In Arcadia, while K-pop group Stray Kids look to secure a third Top 40 entry with THIS & THAT at Number 34.
