Trevor Noah will return “one final time” to host the 2026 Grammy Awards.

On Tuesday, producers at the Recording Academy announced that the comedian has been tapped to helm the annual music prizegiving at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on 1 February.

The event will mark Noah’s sixth time as host of the Grammy Awards.

The 41-year-old will also serve as an executive producer.

Noah has not yet commented on the high-profile gig, but the show’s executive producer, Ben Winston, emphasised that he was “thrilled” to have the stand-up star involved.

“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time,” he told Variety in a statement. “He’s been the most phenomenal host of the show. He’s so smart, so funny, and such a true fan of the artists and music. His impact on the show has been truly spectacular, and we can’t wait to do it together one last time.”

Further presenters and performers will be unveiled soon.

Kendrick Lamar looks set to dominate the prizegiving, having been nominated in nine categories.

The Not Like Us rapper is followed closely by Lady Gaga and producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff, who earned seven nominations each, respectively.

Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, and Leon Thomas also made a strong showing with six nods apiece.
