Turnstile announce exclusive UK headline show for summer 2026

Turnstile have announced details of an exclusive UK headline show, scheduled for later this summer.

The band, who recently took home two Grammys at this year’s ceremony, have confirmed that they will be heading to Halifax for a massive, one-off show at The Piece Hall.

The Baltimore hardcore group will be playing at the venue on Wednesday August 26 as part of the upcoming TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall live summer series.

They are the 41st artist to be added to the stacked line-up for 2026, making the Piece Hall series the biggest outdoor gig series anywhere in the UK. Tickets for their set go on sale this Friday (February 27) at 10am GMT. Visit here for tickets.

The historic venue will have a 6,000 capacity for the gig, and other huge names scheduled for this year’s series include Hollywood Vampires, Paul Weller, Bowling For Soup, Skunk Anansie, Garbage, Sex Pistols, and Jimmy Eat World.

Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL FRSA, CEO of The Piece Hall Trust, said in a new statement: “2026 will see Turnstile playing at some of the world’s most iconic festivals and then here in Halifax at UK’s most iconic heritage venue.

“We always aim to deliver for the full spectrum of music lovers in Calderdale and knowing how passionate our rock and metal community is, this gig will be off the scale – truly unmissable!”

The band were nominated in an impressive five categories ahead of the Grammys ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday February 1, won Best Rock Album for ‘Never Enough’, and Best Metal Performance with ‘Birds’.

While they did not take an overtly-political stance when accepting the award on stage, they shared another statement on Instagram after, calling out the tumultuous political climate in America.

As well as the one-off headline show in the UK lined-up at Halifax, Turnstile will also be performing on these shores as support for Tyler, The Creator, as he headlines All Points East.

The gig will see Tyler host a two-day takeover on August 28-29, and also joined by Rex Orange County, Mariah The Scientist, Clipse, Sexyy Red, Ravyn Lenae, Fakemink, Vince Staples, Daniel Caesar, Baby Keem, Dijon, Ghostface Killah, Syd, Faye Webster, Danny Brown, Jim Legxacy and more.

Turnstile’s ‘Never Enough’ album was ranked at Number Eight on NME’s list of the Best Songs Of 2025, and the ‘Look Out For Me’ single made its way to Number 11 on the ranking of our Best Songs Of The Year too.

NME caught up with Turnstile ahead of the album release, and drummer Daniel Fang revealed how they had to shut out external pressures to deliver the follow-up to their landmark 2021 album ‘Glow On’.

“In terms of avoiding or engaging with outside expectations, there was absolutely zero,” he said. “Fortunately, we were never steered down a certain road: ‘Because ‘Glow On’ happened to be received this way, we need to recreate this or emulate that’. It all comes from the same place: does it actually resonate with us? Does it scratch the impulse to do something new and creative?”
