This year, however, has not been without its trials. In March, the band’s former guitarist Brady Ebert was arrested for attempted murder after allegedly hitting Yates’ father with his car. William Yates was hospitalized after suffering “severe physical trauma” to his legs in the alleged attack, the band said in a statement to Pitchfork. The band parted ways with Ebert in 2022, noting in their statement that this decision was made “in response to a consistent pattern of harmful behavior affecting himself, the band, and the community.” The statement concluded, ”We have no language left for Brady.”
Although Turnstile’s ’s Washington Monument show concluded the Never Enough tour, they already have a few forthcoming festival dates lined up. They’ll play Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in November, and have also been confirmed to Primavera Sound’s 2027 bill.
