Underscores has released her new song ‘Unlimited Love’ and her Frost Children remix of ‘The Peace’.
The Chicago-based hyperpop musician has released her first new music since her third album ‘U‘.
She presents her glitchy and frenetic new single ‘Unlimited Love’, along with its B-side, a Frost Children remix of her song ‘The Peace’. The cover art for ‘Unlimited Love’ seems to reference a potential project called ‘After-U’.
Taking to Instagram stories, Underscores wrote of ‘The Peace’ remix: “Thank U Frost Children I luv luv luv this remix so much”.

Underscores spoke to NME this year, where she opened up about how her relationship with music has evolved since her debut album, 2021’s ‘Fishmonger’.
“I do think my relationship with making music has changed after being able to do it for a living,” Underscores told us. “There’s 10 other jobs that you have to do along with your dream job – which I’m perfectly fine with, but it does sometimes suck the fun out of it a little.
“With each album, I’m trying to restore my relationship with making music,” she added. “And as frustrating as it can be to make music by yourself, that frustration puts something really interesting in the work.”
We also reviewed ‘U’ at the time that it dropped, giving it five stars. “More Black Mirror than Twin Peaks, ‘U’ is an intimate hyperpop record portraying snowballing isolation, a digital-age pop star’s yearning under the limelight of the techno-infused Anthropocene,” we wrote.
