Van Morrison announces 2026 five-night London residency

Van Morrison has announced a five-night residency in London, set for later this year.

The Northern Irish musician, singer, and songwriter is set to return to England for the live shows this autumn, and will be holding a five-night residency at the brand new British Airways ARC venue at Olympia, London.

He will open the residency on September 23, and continue with more shows on September 24, 27, 28 and 29.

All the Van Morrison gigs will be fully seated, and tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (May 15) at 9am BST. They will mark the first residency at the venue after it opens its doors on June 16.

Van Morrison’s London residency shows are:

SEPTEMBER
23 – London, British Airways ARC
24 – London, British Airways ARC
27 – London, British Airways ARC
28 – London, British Airways ARC
29 – London, British Airways ARC

“We are thrilled to welcome Van Morrison as the very first artist to have a residency at our brand-new venue,” said Lucy Noble, SVP UK venues AEG Presents in a new statement. “The shows are set to be incredible.”

The London gigs come following the singer-songwriter recently dropping the new album ‘Somebody Tried To Sell Me A Bridge’, which sees him make a return to blues and cover tracks from huge names like B.B.King and Buddy Guy.

Last month, the ‘Moondance’ singer took home the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Jazz FM Awards, and later this summer he is set to play at multiple festivals including the iconic Montreux Jazz Festival alongside RAYE, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PinkPantheress, Lewis Capaldi and more.

As for the British Airways ARC venue in Olympia, news of the new 3,800 capacity arena was announced last November, and performers scheduled to perform at the venue first include Self Esteem, McFly, the Zac Brown Band, and Khalid.
