Watch Amy Lee, Courtney LaPlante and Poppy play ‘End Of You’ together live for first time at Evanescence’s London show

Evanescence played a huge show in London, and brought out Courtney LaPlante and Poppy to play ‘End Of You’ together live for the first time. Check it out below.

The gig took place at The O2 last night (Sunday September 13) as part of Evanescence’s ongoing ‘Sanctuary’ tour, which celebrates their album of the same name – their first since 2021’s ‘The Bitter Truth’.

At all of their recent gigs, Amy Lee and co. have been breaking out ‘End Of You’ – the 2025 collaborative track between LaPlante and Poppy – live; however, it was only at the London venue that the band brought out the two artists to play it live for the first time.

The rendition came towards the end of the set, following Evanescence breaking out tracks like ‘Sanctuary’, ‘Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough’, ‘Afterlife’, ‘Rapture’, ‘Going Under’ and ‘Fight Like a Girl’ with K.Flay’.

Initially, Amy Lee launched into the song by herself, with Poppy then running onto the stage midway through to sing her verse. While the two of them belted out the track at the front of the stage, LaPlante emerged from the back of the stage shortly after, helping wrap up the single.

The surprise appearance of Poppy comes as she has been opening for the rock giants on their current run of European and UK shows, and the on-stage collaboration with LaPlante comes as Spiritbox have been opening for them in the US.

After the performance of ‘End Of You’, Evanescence wrapped the show up with performances of ‘Who Will You Follow’, ‘My Immortal’ and ‘Wide Open Heart’.

Find more footage of the show below, along with the full setlist.

Evanescence’s London setlist was:

‘Sanctuary’
‘Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough’
‘Afterlife’
‘Rapture’
‘Going Under’
‘Lithium’
‘Like You’
‘Self Destruct’
‘Calm Down’
‘Call Me When You’re Sober’
‘Fight Like a Girl’ (with K.Flay)
‘Beautiful Lie’
‘Wasted on You’
‘Forever Without You’
‘Bring Me to Life’
‘Imaginary’
‘Better Without You’
‘About Us’
‘End of You’ (with Poppy and Courtney LaPlante; first time played live with all three of them)
‘Who Will You Follow’
‘My Immortal’
‘Wide Open Heart’

Last September, Lee, LaPlante and Poppy spoke to NME about the collaboration, and the chances of the trio releasing more music as a fully-fledged supergroup.

“We all have a different shade that we bring to not only the equation, but multiple genres,” said Poppy. “It’s our own flavour, colour, and ingredient.”

Poppy also said that the song stemmed from the lyric: “The end of you is the start of life for me,” which she brought to Lee and LaPlante: “It’s more of a universal message. I don’t want to classify it, but I know what it means to me. Watching the video of all of us together, it feels strong and powerful: ‘Imagine the things they can do when they’re united!’ It’s grounded in strength.”

Lee agreed: “For me, it’s about taking on the patriarchy. In order to make way for the new, we have to let some old ways die, and I don’t feel that should be as hard as it is. I love change, and things can stand to definitely get a lot better than they are right now. It’s about challenging the norms and showing how strong we are when unified as women.”
