Turnstile brought out Faye Webster for ‘I Care’ during their set at All Points East in London – watch footage below.
The Baltimore hardcore band performed on the West Stage at Victoria Park last night (August 28), ahead of the first of Tyler, The Creator’s two headline sets at the festival.
Webster, who was not on Friday’s advertised line-up but is due to play her own All Points East set today (August 29), appeared four songs into Turnstile’s performance to join them for ‘I Care’.
The appearance coincided with the release of the band’s reimagined album ‘Never Enough: Versions’, on which Webster’s reworked version of ‘I Care’ appears.
Another notable moment came when Turnstile played their version of The Stone Roses’ ‘I Wanna Be Adored’, a cover they had given its live debut at The Piece Hall in Halifax two days earlier. The band originally recorded their rendition for Australian radio station Triple J’s Like A Version series in March, describing it as a tribute to the band’s late bassist Mani.
Elsewhere, Turnstile paid tribute to Dolly Parton by walking out to her Kenny Rogers duet ‘Islands In The Stream’, while frontman Brendan Yates acknowledged the band’s relationship with London, telling the audience: “It’s a second home for us. Meg [Mills, guitarist] is from here. Thank you for always making it feel like home.”

‘Never Enough: Versions’ contains 22 new interpretations of tracks from Turnstile’s fourth album ‘Never Enough’. As well as Webster, the project includes contributions from Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, Four Tet and A.G. Cook.
Slayyyter, Dying Fetus, Oklou, Floating Points, Panda Bear, Alex G, Julien Baker and Mustafa are also among those involved.
NME awarded the original ‘Never Enough’ five stars, praising Turnstile for “furthering their unique, pop-facing take on hardcore”. It subsequently landed at Number Eight on NME’s list of the best albums of 2025, while ‘Look Out For Me’ was Number 11 on the best songs of the year.
Earlier this year, Turnstile won Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance at the Grammy Awards, with the latter prize recognising ‘Birds’.
The second of Tyler’s two All Points East headline shows takes place today with a different supporting line-up. Daniel Caesar, Baby Keem, Dijon, Ghostface Killah, Syd, Webster, Danny Brown and Jim Legxacy are among those due to appear.
Turnstile, meanwhile, are set to play at Rock En Seine in France today (August 29), before heading to Lisbon’s MEO Kalorama tomorrow. Their North American tour begins in Seattle next week – see all of the dates and ticket information here.
Last month Turnstile took over a Baltimore Orioles game, after the baseball team hosted a night in their honour. More recently, Joe Rogan discovered the hardcore giants on his podcast, and explained why he thinks US rap has “fallen off the charts” because of the defunding of international aid.
