Watch Geese cover Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’ at Coachella 2026

Ahead of Justin Bieber‘s return to the stage at Coachella, Geese covered one of his biggest hits – check it out below.

The Cameron Winter-fronted band played the festival ahead of Bieber’s comeback last night (April 11), and used their set to pay homage to the pop icon.

Bieber marked his return to the stage at the festival last night, and will return again for his second performance next week (April 18). It is believed that he will earn over $10million (£7.3million) in total for his pair of Coachella 2026 performances.

During Geese’s set in the Gobi Tent, the band wove ‘Baby’ – Bieber’s breakout 2010 hit – into their song ‘2122’.

It’s become something of a live tradition for Geese to intertwine a cover into that track, having recently used the moment to pay tribute to the Stone Roses and Primal Scream.

Both of Bieber’s recent albums earned three stars each with NME describing ‘Swag‘ as Bieber finding “sanctuary in faith and love, with the help of a diverse group of collaborators”.

Its follow-up, ‘Swag II‘ was dubbed “frustrating because there’s plenty of great material scattered across these two parts, which would be far stronger as a single, shorter release. Put bluntly, you have to wonder: did this really need to be a double album?”.

Geese, meanwhile, just wrapped up their UK tour.

NME caught their highly-awaited London gig and gave the performance a glowing five-star review, which read: “While Winter’s last solo gig in these parts revealed him as a Tom Waits or Nick Cave for our time, tonight feels like one of those hallowed shows seeing Nirvana or The Strokes come into their own, or Radiohead finding their voice. In any way, it’s between Geese and Fontaines D.C. to define this decade as a band.

“Catch them at this unmissable moment while it lasts, for the pure joy of saying “I was there”.
