Hayley Williams brought out Rico Nasty to perform B.o.B’s ‘Airplanes’ in New York last night (Thursday September 17). Watch the footage below.
The live collaboration took place during the Paramore frontwoman’s solo show at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, as part of the current North American leg of ‘The Hayley Williams Show’ tour.
“Rico!” Williams shouted, as the American rapper and singer joined her on stage. The pair then hugged each other as the crowd cheered, before Williams sang the first verse of ‘Airplanes’.
Nasty rapped over the tune, taking on the role of B.o.B from the original 2010 song. Williams contributed vocals to the studio version, with another version – dubbed ‘Airplanes, Part II’ – featuring a verse from Eminem.
Yesterday’s collab marked the first time Williams had performed ‘Airplanes’ live in 16 years. Her team-up with Nasty came in the encore of the singer’s 25-track set, according to Setlist.FM.

The Paramore vocalist joins Nasty on the line-up for All Things Go 2026, which takes place in Columbia, Maryland, next week. Last November, Williams joined Nasty on stage in LA to perform on the latter’s ‘Smack A Bitch’. Nasty previously played ‘Misery Business’ with Paramore in 2023.
Williams kicked off her current tour in West Palm Beach, Florida, on September 3. The trek is set to continue into next month, before the artist heads to South America, Mexico City, Europe and the UK. You can find any remaining tickets here.

Williams’ latest album, 2025’s ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party’, earned a five-star review from NME: “As with almost every era of Hayley Williams’ career, this new release has come with questions about the future of Paramore. The determined lyrics on the tender ‘I Won’t Quit On You’ should be all the reassurance worried fans need, but if that’s not enough, there’s plenty in this brilliant, swaggering new chapter to be excited about.
“These songs might be about missed second chances, but Williams is certainly making the most of hers.”
The record was later featured as the ninth best album of the year on NME‘s end-of-year list. Since then, she has launched a new musical collaboration with Daniel James called Power Snatch – with the pair dropping their second EP last month.
