KISS OF LIFE‘s Natty and Julie as well as Mark Tuan of GOT7 recently performed ‘Superpower’ live for the first time at the Valorant Champions 2024 opening ceremony.
The two KISS OF LIFE singers and the GOT7 rapper appeared for the opening ceremony of the annual Esports tournament on August 25, alongside a handful of other artists as performers such as Lay Bankz, Odetari and Madge.
Over the course of the ceremony, Natty, Julie and Tuan performed ‘Superpower’ in its entirety for the first time, while also debuting the song’s choreography. “If I never leap, I’ll never fly / Bleed or sacrifice / Fight until the final hour / Pain is my superpower,” Natty belts on the chorus.
The song was first released in late-July in anticipation of the grand finale of Valorant‘s international esports tournament series. Wholly organised by developer Riot Games, this year’s final tour ran from August 1 to 25.
Riot Games and Valorant previously tapped Japanese girl group XG for a collaboration single titled ‘Undefeated’ in April, made for the Valorant Champions Tour Pacific that took place from April to May this year in Seoul.
In other KISS OF LIFE news, the quartet – completed by Belle and Haneul – announced earlier today (August 26) the first batch of dates for the girl group’s 2024 world tour, titled ‘Kiss Road’. The tour will be the K-pop act’s first-ever world tour, following their 2023 debut.
The quartet will kick-off their tour in October with a two-date show in Seoul, South Korea. Thereafter, they will head to the US and Canada in November and December, playing 18 shows across the two months.
