Sombr celebrated his Best New Artist nomination with a performance at the 2026 Grammys. Dripped out in a glitzy Valentino outfit, the New York singer-songwriter sang the I Barely Know Her track “12 to 12” as he moved through the audience. Watch it go down below.

Sombr was up against Addison Rae (who appears in his “12 to 12” video), Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, Katseye, Lola Young, the Marías, and Olivia Dean (who ultimately won) for Best New Artist. Sombr’s debut album did not pick up any nominations in its own right, but the combined billion streams of his Hot 100 hits “Back to Friends” and “Undressed” will likely keep him in good stead with the Recording Academy.
