Watch YEONJUN Rock the ‘GMA’ Summer Concert Stage With Solo Tracks ‘Vanilla,’ ‘Talk To You’ & ‘Ice Cream’

TOMORROW X TOGETHER‘s YEONJUN heated up Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series in New York’s Central Park on Wednesday morning (Aug. 5) with a sampling of songs from his two NO LABELS solo LPs. He opened with the hip-hop-inspired pop bop “Vanilla” from last month’s solo LP, NO LABELS: PART 02, bouncing across the stage on his own as the audience shouted along and waved around their signature mint-colored TXT light sticks.

Midway through, the singer/rapper — dressed in white jeans with blue piping and a matching jacket over a striped blue shirt — was joined by four male backup dancers in all black, who matched his hype choreo, and then by two female dancers who amped the energy up 10 more notches.

Before he rocked out to “Vanilla,” YEONJUN chatted up GMA‘s Sam Champion, with Champion getting a few of the most excited hardcore fans to show off a bit of the viral “Ice Cream” dance routine. Afterward, he was back with Champion and GMA co-host Lara Spencer, with Spencer thanking him for bringing the energy in the early morning.

Spencer asked the singer how PART 02 differed from its predecessor, with YEONJUN explaining that “it’s a lot more natural and unfiltered” than the first part, allowing him to show another part of himself. YEONJUN said he was so grateful that fans had turned his “Ice Cream” dance into a viral hit, saying he loves watching them dance and enjoy his music.

With that, YEONJUN was back on stage to perform the bouncy “Ice Cream,” with six female dancers sliding around him and doing the wiggly dance moves in perfect sync with the K-pop star as fans could be heard shouting along to the slinky song’s earworm chorus. He capped off the performance with the lead track from his previous album, “Talk To You,” once again leading his dancers in athletic moves that found him jumping, spinning and stomping around the stage.

The new album is the follow-up to November’s NO LABELS: PART 01, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales — a chart TXT topped for the ninth time this past April with the six-track 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, which also peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Before releasing the LPs, as a soloist YEONJUN collaborated with KATSEYE on a remix of the girl group’s “Touch” and released his debut single, “GGUM,” in 2024.
