William Orbit, the electronic musician-turned-sought-after producer for the likes of Madonna and Blur, has died. “William passed away at home on 23rd July 2026,” Orbit’s family wrote in a statement posted to his Instagram. “He will be greatly missed by us and by so many whose lives he touched through his music, friendship, and kindness.” A cause of death was not provided. Orbit was 69.
