The UK singles chart is heating up just in time for the holiday break, with Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson leading the charge for a major festive windfall. According to the latest Official Chart: First Look, Larsson is currently enjoying a resurgence that could see two of her tracks dominating the Top 20 simultaneously.

Her enduring anthem “Lush Life” is currently sitting at Number 3 in the preliminary reports. If the track maintains its momentum through the week, it will match its previous all-time peak, proving the song’s remarkable staying power years after its initial release. Larsson’s success doesn’t stop there; her recent hit “Midnight Sun” is also on an upward trajectory. After securing a personal best last Friday, the track is now aiming for Number 14, marking a prolific period for the singer.

While Larsson climbs, the summit of the chart remains under the firm grip of Sam Fender and Olivia Dean. Their collaborative track “Rein Me In” is showing no signs of slowing down, currently tracking for a seventh non-consecutive week at Number 1. Despite the competition, the duo’s steady streaming numbers suggest they are the ones to beat as the final Friday deadline looms.

The mid-week update also highlights some nostalgic surprises and international breakouts:

Milky’s “Just The Way You Are”: The 2002 classic is making an unexpected bid for the Top 10. Currently sitting at Number 10, it would be the track’s first time in the top tier in over two decades.

Rising Stars: Alex Warren is moving toward the Top 5 with “Fever Dream” (4), while sombr’s “Homewrecker” looks set to leap to Number 6.

The American Import: Ella Langley continues her UK takeover, with “Choosin’ Texas” projected to jump seven spots to Number 22.

The Breakthrough: ANOTR and 54 Ultra are eyeing a massive 18-place climb for “Talk To You,” which would land them their first Top 40 appearance at Number 30.

With several days of tracking left, the final Official Singles Chart Top 100 on Friday will reveal if Larsson can turn these early reports into a record-breaking Easter Sunday.
