Zayn and Jisoo Fall for Each Other in Cosmic ‘Eyes Closed’ Video

The singers released the duet on Friday, which dropped alongside an intergalactic new video

Zayn and Jisoo fly past Saturn and fall for each other on their new single, “Eyes Closed.” On Friday, the Blackpink superstar and former One Direction heartthrob teamed up for the dreamy duet, which dropped alongside an otherworldly video.

In the sleek visual, Zayn and Jisoo float through a spaceship, drifting alone before finally finding each other mid-orbit to harmonize on the chorus.

“Said, oh, we should fall in love with our eyes closed/Better if we keep it where we don’t know,” the duo sings. “The beds we’ve been in, the namеs and the faces of who we wеre with/And, oh, ain’t nobody perfect, but it’s all good.”

The pair have been teasing the new song for some time now, sharing clips of the track and its lyrics. The collab also arrives before Zayn is set to host his Las Vegas residency in mid-January, and also a week after he announced that he will reunite with One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson for an upcoming Netflix series.

While Zayn seldom collaborates with other artists for his own music, he has previously linked up with Taylor Swift for Fifty Shades Darker‘s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” Sia for “Dusk Till Dawn,” and SHAED on “Trampoline.”

Meanwhile, the Zayn duet is Jisoo’s first release since her excellent solo EP, Amortage, which featured “Earthquake,” “Hugs & Kisses,” and “Your Love.” The star is currently on tour with Blackpink, with shows scheduled through late January.
