Announced today (November 28), the gig sees Mighty Hoopla and Olly Alexander team up to curate a line-up, in support of Good Law Project and trans-led charity Not A Phase.

The special concert, dubbed “A Night of Solidarity For A Lifetime Of Change”, will take place at OVO Arena Wembley on March 11 2026.

Per a press release, the show aims to be: “A statement that trans people are loved, valued, and celebrated, and that the entertainment industry stands proudly with them.”

So far, the gig will include the aforementioned artists, as well as Bimini, Beverley Knight, Rahim Redcar, Fat Tony, GottMikk, HAAi, Jasmine.4.T, Kae Tempest, Kate Nash, MNEK, Romy, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sink The Pink, Tom Grennan, Tom Rasmussen and Trans Voices, with more to be announced.

The concert will also see appearances from the likes of Ian McKellen, Jordan Stephens, Munroe Bergdorf, Nicola Coughlan, Russell Tovey, Tia Kofi, Zack Polanski and more.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday (December 2), and will be available here.

Mighty Hoopla co-founders Glyn Fussell and Jamie Tagg said of the event: “We have been working behind the scenes to organise something on this scale for a long time, to not only fundraise but also publicly stand with the trans community who are under daily attack. It is time we came together, got organised and unite to fight back against the hate. This is about allyship, empathy and holding up those we love.”

Meanwhile, Olly Alexander added: “I believe that in these times, community action isn’t just important – it’s essential! We need real and lasting change. Through solidarity, creativity and collective fundraising, we can fight back against the politics of fear and exclusion and build a world where everyone can thrive.

“I am very fortunate to know and work closely alongside incredible trans and non-binary people whose creativity and presence are essential to the cultural fabric we all share,” Alexander continued. “Trans Mission is going to be a special and unforgettable night, and I’m excited to share the stage with so many wonderful people I hugely admire.”

News of the gig comes after artists such as Charli XCX, Self Esteem and Wolf Alice signed an open letter of solidarity to the trans community from the UK music industry earlier this year.

It followed the UK Supreme Court ruling on April 16, in which judges unanimously ruled that the legal definition of a woman is based on biological sex under the Equality Act.

The letter was penned by artist Tom Rasmussen and Tom Mehrtens (Head Of Music & Entertainment, SATELLITE414) on behalf of the UK music industry. Help came from Olly Alexander (Years & Years) and Martha Kinn (Manager and Founder, Kinndred Management).

It aimed to show “solidarity, support and love for the trans community at this vital time”, and “channel our anger and frustration at the current situation”.

Numerous figures in the entertainment world also expressed their support for those affected by the ruling. Those who have spoken out include Scissor Sisters, Perfume Genius, Garbage, Rachel Chinouriri, JADE, Lambrini Girls and Billy Bragg.
