Beyoncé scores highest-grossing tour of 2025, despite Oasis selling more tickets

Beyoncé‘s ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour has been named the highest-grossing tour of 2025, ahead of Oasis’ comeback, despite the Manchester band selling more tickets.

The singer’s 32-show ran up until July and according to data from Pollstar, it topped the charts with a total of $407.6million (£305.5million), selling a total of 1,596,165 tickets at an average price of $255.36 (£189.16).

Oasis’ ‘Live ‘25’ tour came in at second in the list, with its 36 shows taking in a gross of $405.4million (£300.3million). Due to a lower average ticket price of $181.93 (£134.76), however, Liam and Noel Gallagher and co actually sold the highest number of tickets in 2025 at 2,228,471.

Also placing high in the chart are Coldplay’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour, which the data shows grossed $390million (£289million) for its 2025 dates at an average ticket price of $133.80 (£99.10), and Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s joint tour, which grossed $358million (£265million).

The top ten is rounded out by Shakira ($320million), The Weeknd ($306million), Chris Brown ($298million), Imagine Dragons ($249million), Lady Gaga ($208million) and Post Malone ($198million).

The ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour was named earlier this year as the highest-grossing country tour of all time and it also made Beyoncé the first American artist to have two tours gross over $400million, following on from her 2023 ‘Renaissance’ trek.

The first London ‘Cowboy Carter’ show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earned her a glowing five-star review, with Nick Levine writing for NME: “As a performer, she remains pretty much flawless – who else can sing from a bucking mechanical bull without missing a note? And as a creator of stadium spectacle, she keeps getting better. No one leaving this show will be removing their cowboy hat on the ride home.”

As for Oasis, rumours continue to circulate about the possibility of further touring. At the band’s final Wembley Stadium dates in September, Liam told the audience, “see you next year”, before jokingly slapping himself on the wrist. However, Liam later said Oasis needed to “sit down and discuss” their plans first. “Next year might be a little enthusiastic,” he admitted.

However, earlier this month, Liam Gallagher ruled out any 2026 tour dates – but did suggest something may be in the works for 2027. Denying that Oasis may potentially return to Knebworth, the frontman took to X/Twitter to joke: “I don’t [have] snizzle to do until 2027 I mean happy Christmas.”

A new film documenting Oasis’ massive return and comeback tour is also in the works, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. According to reports, the forthcoming project will feature some “phenomenal” footage of Liam and Noel’s first meeting ahead of the shows.
