Cruz Beckham has seemingly taken a swipe at his “lonely” estranged brother Brooklyn Beckham in a new song.

The 21-year-old appears to sing about his older brother and the family feud in his upcoming track, Loneliest Boy, seemingly hinting that the estrangement is “breaking (their mum’s) heart”.

“Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him, to find something bad in somebody good, he always does,” he sings in the first verse, according to lyrics posted on Genius.com. “Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening, don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.”

Brooklyn, 27, confirmed the family rift in a series of explosive Instagram posts in January. He declared that he does not want to reconcile with his family and accused his parents David and Victoria of controlling him and trying to ruin his relationship with his wife Nicola Peltz.

In the chorus, Cruz sings that the subject of his song is “a million miles away” when he looks “so close”.

The second verse appears to address the feud more directly, as Cruz sings, “Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, it’s breaking h?r heart, it shows in the small things that you don’t do. I guess in th? end that it’s you, yourself, and you, tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?”

Cruz, who has been performing the song on his first U.K. and European tour, recently said that he hopes to reconcile with his older brother in the future.

According to video footage published by TMZ and HELLO!, Cruz was asked by a videographer in Paris, “Any chance you guys will repair the relationship? Are you hopeful for that?” and he simply replied, “I hope so.”

The singer, his parents and his brother Romeo also wished Brooklyn a happy birthday via Instagram earlier this month.
