Muse have officially announced their 10th studio album, The WOW! Signal.

Matt Bellamy and co confirmed the record after unveiling new single Be With You in spectacular fashion — partnering with Sent Into Space to launch a tablet 33km above Earth to reveal the album and premiere the track’s video (scroll to see below).

The WOW! Signal, the follow-up to 2022’s Will Of The People, arrives June 26 and is described as a blend of “cosmic mystery, existential hope and the exhilarating possibility of contact with something far greater than ourselves.”

The album also features Unravelling, released in 2025 as their first new music in three years.

The announcement follows months of hints from bassist Chris Wolstenholme, who revealed earlier this year that the band were preparing to start work on a new record “fairly soon.”

Speaking on The Leona Graham Podcast, he said Muse were weighing up their next label move after several albums with Warner, adding that longer gaps between records were becoming necessary.

He admitted: “I don’t think we can be banging out new albums every two years like we used to.

“But it gives you that opportunity to reset a little bit and think about what’s gonna happen going forward.”

They stuck with Warner, who will release The WOW! Signal.

At the time, Wolstenholme suggested fans might be waiting until 2026 for album ten — but the band accelerated their plans.

During the group’s downtime, Wolstenholme released music with his side project, Chromes.

The WOW! Signal tracklist:

1. The Dark Forest

2. Nightshift Superstar

3. Shimmering Scars

4. Cryogen

5. Be With You

6. Hexagons

7. The Sickness In You and I

8. Unravelling

9. Hush

10. Space Debris
