Drake Makes History at Nos. 1, 2 & 3 on Billboard 200 With ‘ICEMAN,’ ‘HABIBTI’ & ‘MAID OF HONOUR’

Drake takes over the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart as his three new albums, ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR, debut at Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively, on the chart dated May 30.

All three albums were released on Friday, May 15. It’s the first time that an artist has held the top three on the Billboard 200 concurrently since it began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in March 1956.

ICEMAN also yields Drake his 15th No. 1 album, pushing him ahead of Jay-Z for the most No. 1s among solo men and R&B/hip-hop artists, and tying him with Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s among soloists. Only one act is ahead of Drake and Swift: The Beatles, with a record 19 No. 1 albums.

While ICEMAN had been teased for months before it dropped, the existence of the other two albums was only announced during a livestream on May 14, shortly before the trio of titles was released.

ICEMAN enters with 463,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in the week ending May 21, marking the second-largest week of 2026 for an album and the biggest week of the year for an R&B/hip-hop set. HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR launch with 114,000 and 110,000 units, respectively.

Also in the top 10 of the latest Billboard 200, rapper LUCKI lands his first top 10 as Dr*gs R Bad debuts at No. 9.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 2,500 ad-supported or 1,000 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new May 30, 2026-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on May 27 (a day later than usual due to the Memorial Day holiday in the U.S. on May 25). For all chart news, follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X and Instagram.

Of ICEMAN’s 463,000 equivalent album units earned in the latest tracking week, SEA units comprise 449,000 (equaling 462.2 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 18 tracks; it debuts at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise 13,000 (only available as a digital download, it debuts at No. 5 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise 1,000.

Of HABIBTI’s starting sum of 114,000, SEA units comprise 108,000 (equaling 110.63 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 11 tracks; it debuts at No. 2 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise nearly 6,000 (it debuts at No. 12 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.

As for MAID OF HONOUR, of its first-week total of 110,000, SEA units comprise 104,000 (equaling 105.48 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 14 tracks; it debuts at No. 3 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise 6,000 (it debuts at No. 11 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum.

Both HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR, like ICEMAN, were available to purchase only as digital download albums.

  • Drake Holds Top 3 on Billboard 200

As Drake debuts at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the Billboard 200, it marks the first time that one act has had the top three albums at the same time since the chart began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in March 1956.

Drake thus becomes the first act to debut at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 at the same time. He’s also only the third act to debut at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously.

Guns N’ Roses was the first act to debut at Nos. 1 and 2 concurrently, with Use Your Illusion II and Use Your Illusion I, respectively, on the Oct. 5, 1991-dated chart. Nelly was the second act to start at Nos. 1 and 2 at the same time, with Suit and Sweat, on the Oct. 2, 2004-dated chart. Beyond debuts, multiple acts have ranked at Nos. 1 and 2 simultaneously, most recently Future in March 2017. The Beatles lead with 20 such weeks, all in 1964.

Notably, in the pre-streaming era, one other act earned comparable dominance, although it was not on the Billboard 200. Before December 2014, the Billboard 200 ranked titles by pure album sales and in the week ending June 28, 2009, Michael Jackson had the top three-selling albums of the week, following his death on June 25 — all with catalog (older) albums (Number Ones, The Essential Michael Jackson and Thriller). However, at the time, catalog albums were excluded from charting on the Billboard 200, and Jackson ranked at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the now-defunct Top Comprehensive Albums chart, which, during its existence, included both current and catalog albums.

  • Drake’s 15th No. 1 Album on Billboard 200

ICEMAN marks Drake’s 15th No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, surpassing Jay-Z for the most No. 1s among men. Drake ties Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s among soloists. Drake and Swift trail just one act, The Beatles, who have the most No. 1s among all acts, with 19. Jay-Z now follows Drake and Swift, with 14 leaders.

ICEMAN also tallies an 18th top 10-charted album for Drake on the Billboard 200, tying him with Future for the most top 10s among R&B/hip-hop acts.

    Here’s a rundown of Drake’s 15 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200:

Title, Year, Weeks at No. 1

  • Biggest Week of 2026 for R&B/Hip-Hop Album

With 463,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week, ICEMAN collects the largest week, by units, of 2026 for an R&B/hip-hop album. ICEMAN also logs the second-largest week, by units, of 2026 among all albums — second only to the debut week of BTS’ ARIRANG with 641,000 (April 4 chart).

The last R&B/hip-hop title to score a bigger week than ICEMAN was the opening frame of The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow, with its start of 490,000 on the Feb. 15, 2025-dated chart. The last rap title to log a larger week was Travis Scott’s Utopia, with a 496,000-unit debut on the Aug. 12, 2023, chart.

  • Largest Streaming Week of 2026

ICEMAN arrives with 463,000 equivalent album units earned, of which 449,000 are derived from SEA units. The latter figure equals 462.2 million on-demand official streams of the album’s tracks during its first week. That 462.2 million-mark is the largest streaming total for an album in 2026, and the biggest for an R&B/hip-hop album since Drake’s own For All the Dogs debuted with 514.01 million streams for its songs (Oct. 21, 2023-dated chart).

  • Top Four All 100,000-Plus

For the first time in nearly a year, the top four titles on the Billboard 200 each exceed 100,000 equivalent album units earned for the week. Following Drake’s trio of albums is Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide, which falls to No. 4 after three weeks atop the list. In its latest tracking week, The Great Divide earned 101,000 equivalent album units (down 24%).

The Billboard 200 last saw the top four titles each surpass 100,000 units on the July 26, 2025-dated chart. That week, JACKBOYS and Travis Scott’s JACKBOYS 2 debuted at No. 1 with 232,000, Justin Bieber’s SWAG debuted at No. 2 with 163,000, Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem fell 1-3 with 147,000 and Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out debuted at No. 4 with 118,000.

  • The Rest of the Top 10

Following Kahan on the latest Billboard 200 is a trio of former No. 1s. Ella Langley’s Dandelion dips 2-5 (98,000 equivalent album units earned, down 2%), Wallen’s I’m the Problem falls 4-6 (84,000, down less than 1%) and Michael Jackson’s Thriller slips 5-7 (63,000, down 5%). Jackson’s best-of collection Number Ones is next, as it drops 6-8 (60,000, down 8%).

LUCKI lands his first top 10-charted album as Dr*Gs R Bad bows at No. 9 with 51,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 45,000 (equaling 48.39 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks, his best streaming week; it debuts at No. 9 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise 6,000 (his best sales week; it debuts at No. 13 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise a negligible sum. First-week sales of the album got a boost from multiple physical variants, including signed editions.

Rounding out the top 10 on the latest Billboard 200 is BTS’s former leader ARIRANG, falling 8-10 with 42,000 equivalent album units earned (down 4%).
