Chelsea Wolfe shares two new songs ‘The Dark’ and ‘Death Is Not The End’, and announces US and European tour

Chelsea Wolfe has shared two new songs and announced a huge US and European tour. Find all the details below.

‘The Dark’ and ‘Death is Not the End’, out now via Lomo Vista Recordings, mark Wolfe’s first new music since her 2024 album ‘She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She’, and serve as the first taste of her upcoming ninth studio album.

‘Death is Not the End’ opens with the soft plucking of an acoustic guitar alongside hushed vocals from Wolfe, which steadily unfolds in dramatic, explosive guitar riffs and a heavy, pulsing bassline.

The track finds Wolfe and longtime collaborator Ben Chisolm working alongside former Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck and session drummer Matt Chamberlain (Tori Amos, Fiona Apple). It comes with a cinematic music video that features Wolfe among various ocean scenes.

Meanwhile, ‘The Dark’ is more folk-imbued, with Wolfe singing: “Who says that I’ll be gone now/A glimpse of what’s to come down/The line, the pathless path, the sound/The stranger I’ve become now,” on the track’s pensive chorus. It features drummer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett) and bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Air, Beck).

Listen to both tracks below.

Alongside the songs, Wolfe has also announced a huge 43-date tour that will see her play shows across the US and Europe for the rest of the year.

The giant trek kicks off in September in San Francisco, and will head to Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles and more through to the end of October.

From there, she’ll begin the European leg in November, with shows scheduled in Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, Budapest and more. The entire tour wraps up in Athens on December 19.
