Biffy Clyro at Finsbury Park: check out the set times

Biffy Clyro are set to play a huge outdoor show in London this Friday (July 3) – check out the full stage timings below.

The Scottish band will headline the capital’s Finsbury Park in support of their 10th and latest album, ‘Futique’, which was released last autumn.

Today (Wednesday July 1), promoter Festival Republic has shared the full set times for Simon Neil and co’s big London gig.

Gates to Finsbury Park will open at 2pm BST on Friday, followed by an opening half-hour slot from Wavves at 3:30pm. Next up on the line-up is Marmozets, who’ll perform between 4:20pm and 4:50pm.

Don Broco‘s support slot is billed for 5:20pm to 6:05pm, with main openers Nothing But Thieves playing for an hour and 10 minutes from 6:35pm.

Biffy Clyro’s set is listed as being just under two hours, running from 8:30pm until 10:20pm.

According to organisers, these set times are subject to change. See the announcement post below, along with the full rundown.

The set times for Biffy Clyro at London’s Finsbury Park are:

Gates
2pm

Stage times
Wavves – 3:30pm-4pm
Marmozets – 4:20pm-4:50pm
Don Broco – 5:20pm-6:05pm
Nothing But Thieves – 6:35pm-7:45pm
Biffy Clyro – 8:30pm-10:20pm

This month will also see Biffy Clyro take to the stage at Cardiff Castle and the Edinburgh Summer Sessions, ahead of a bill-topping slot at Kendal Calling. The band are scheduled for numerous European festivals, too, such as Sziget, Rock En Seine and FIB Benicàssim.

In a previous statement about their return to London, the trio said: “Finsbury fuckin’ Park – see you in July. This is going to be so special, don’t miss it…”

Biffy Clyro also spoke to NME about how they had “put together a fucking unbelievable bill” for the show. “We’re lucky that a lot of people wanted to play, but we wanted to lean into British rock bands and be proud of where we come from,” frontman Neil explained. “Nothing But Thieves, Marmozets, Don Broco, it’s dynamite.

“Sometimes we put a bill together and it’s pointed. ‘I want people to learn about this band!’ Magic will happen.”

He added: “It’s fucking exciting. London matters a lot to us. We really love our time here. There’s been a bit of a liberation for us playing over the last five years. Plus Finsbury has such a massive history.”

Biffy Clyro embarked on a UK and Ireland arena tour at the start of this year, and played a big slot on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage last summer.

In a four-star review of ‘Futique’, NME wrote: “Biffy Clyro have delivered one of their most personal and definitive records to date. There’s a vulnerability met with a forward motion; a feeling of three friends shining light through the cracks to find a renewed sense of purpose.

“You can holler ”Mon the Biff!’ for a while longer, it seems. A little love and a lot of noise goes a long way.”
