The multi-generational spectacle was highlighted by a live collaboration with longtime creative partner and guitar icon Nile Rodgers. The Chic frontman joined the band onstage with his signature Fender Stratocaster to perform a definitive rendition of their classic funk-rock track “Notorious,” alongside their recent collaborative track, “Free To Love.” The main set later culminated in a grand mashup of “Girls On Film” and Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer” beneath the London dusk, before a fiery encore featuring “Wild Boys,” “Save A Prayer,” and a triumphant closing delivery of “Rio.” Following the performance, the band announced a special Halloween show at London’s The O2 as part of their 2026 UK arena tour.
The high-profile bill featured a massive supporting lineup across the festival grounds. Pop-glam veterans Scissor Sisters ignited the main stage with a chaotic, theatrical 12-song set. Opening with “I Don’t Feel Like Dancing” and “Laura,” the group surprised fans by welcoming Melanie C to the stage for a unique mashup of “Take Your Mama” and George Michael’s “Freedom.”
Earlier in the afternoon, Nile Rodgers & CHIC got the crowd moving with timeless dance floor anthems including “Le Freak” and “Good Times,” alongside hit covers written for Madonna and Daft Punk. Electronic music duo Groove Armada kicked off the day with a high-energy DJ set, while Melanie C later took over the Rainbow Stage for a solo pop set marking 30 years of the Spice Girls.
